Bringing Harley-Davidson to Pakistan
Harley-Davidson motorcycles have long been recognised around the world for their distinctive styling, powerful engines and unmistakable place in motorcycle culture. In Pakistan, though, owning one has traditionally been a more specialised experience than buying an ordinary motorcycle.
The Harley Store, also known as THS Pakistan, was built to serve enthusiasts looking for these iconic motorcycles in the local market.
It was founded by Imran Malik, a motorcycle enthusiast and entrepreneur, who built the business around sourcing pre-owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles from abroad, refurbishing them locally and offering them for sale in Pakistan. The showroom opened in 2016, creating a dedicated place for people who wanted to own and experience these motorcycles.
How it started
Rather than starting with a large inventory, Imran Malik first worked on a pre-order basis. As interest grew, he opened a showroom where customers could see the motorcycles in person.
The idea went beyond importing bikes. The store also offered motorcycle apparel, helmets and accessories, giving enthusiasts access to the wider Harley-Davidson lifestyle. That approach helped establish THS as a specialist business serving a close community of riders.
From four bikes to forty
A growing collection
When the showroom opened in 2016, it had just four motorcycles ready for sale. By April 2018, the inventory had grown to around 40 motorcycles, and the store had sold more than 180 motorcycles in the year before.
Those numbers show how a specialist business can grow by focusing on a clearly defined audience and a product with a strong identity. As demand grew, the store also expanded to Islamabad to serve customers from northern Pakistan.

An independent specialist
The Harley Store is an independent importer of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, sourcing bikes from established dealers abroad. It is a Pakistani specialist retailer and is not part of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company in the United States.
A place for riders
Owning a motorcycle isn't only about specifications or price. For many riders, it's about design, engineering, personal expression and the feeling of the ride itself.
